I had a physical therapy session yesterday. The therapist said I was progressing 'very well'. Encouraging words from a professional!
Still having trouble with the leg swelling, however. Even though I do my exercises twice a day, walk (with my walker) the length of the house several times a day, the leg and foot still swell and cause pain.
This morning I had a small brainstorm... My husband has a neck vibrator that fits around his neck with a Velcro strap. (He had a neck injury several years ago that still causes him pain now and then.) Well, I thought, how about strapping that puppy around my leg? I keep moving it now and then, and it's only been an hour or so, but I think it is helping!
