We have one large bird feeder that we put sunflower seeds in. Three hummingbird feeders and one oriole feeder with sugar water. Two bird baths with water. Our yard is starting to resemble an aviary! Birds coming and going, some dive-bombing others who they think are in their way... and the variety of birds is awesome! Chickadees, nuthatches, rose breasted nuthatches, hummingbirds, blue jays, orioles, indigo buntings, yellow-bellied sapsuckers, hairy woodpeckers, downy woodpeckers, pilelated woodpeckers, red-headed woodpeckers, phoebes, wrens, juncos, grackles, blackbirds, chipping sparrows, pine siskins, goldfinches, robins, and the occasional eagle!
Some days our yard is like an airport! Oh, what fun to watch them!
