September 9 was my birthday. As my husband said, "you are 66 on 9/9!" Next year, my birthday will fall on 9/9/09.... hmmm.....does anyone see anything in the future for that date? If you see something good, let me know. If you see something horrible, keep it to yourself, OK?
Anyway, to celebrate my birthday, my husband took me over to the Shooting Star Casino and Hotel in Mahnomen. We've been there before, so we get a free room, and most of our meals are free, also! Very nice deal. We were both lucky at the slot machines, doubling the money we took with us!!! NICE!!
Colin held down the fort here at home, taking care of the dogs, cleaning, working outside, etc. He was glad to see us come home. The dogs were not happy that we were gone!
Guess that's all the news I have for now. Oh, and my husband gave me a DVD player!

Happy birthday - late as it is, I believe the celebrations should continue at least a week, so happy birth-week! 9 is a special number in many ways, so 9/9/09 is surely extra special!
