Every time I see a bald eagle, I am always in awe. What a great state that we live in. Where else can you look out your window and see such a majestic creature.
When I went to pick up Sheba at the vet - coming back by the lake - there was a male bald eagle perched by the river, on the lake, on the ice eating a tasty fishy.
I forget how HUGE those guys are.
There were a few people on the ice standing there (back a ways) watching him eat.
If I hadn't had a squawking kitty I would have stopped to watch.
Bald eagles are one of my favorite parts about living in MN.

Holy cow, I have never seen one of those outside of captivity! How cool is that!
Wow, that's a great picture. I was just thinking over Easter how much I miss being able to see bald eagles flying over Lake Bemidji...
