Yesterday I saw my dr. for a check-up before my knee surgery. The surgery is scheduled for October 4th at the Bemidji hospital. I had some of the best news! My blood pressure was 120/80! That is text-book good!!! The dr. thought so, too. I've been struggling with high blood pressure for so long...
I haven't said much about the up-coming surgery, I suppose because I'm a little nervous about it. I've had so many surgeries over the years, and it's never any fun to be cut open!
My family and friends are very reassuring. "You'll have less pain." "You'll be able to do so much more." I know all these things, but I still get anxious...
My husband has arranged to have several days off work so he can help me out when I get home. Our son will still be around, also.
Well, that's enough about that.

It's hard to believe that this is finally happening. Surgery, any surgery, is nerve wracking.
Still...The positives in this case I think will be well worth it in the end. I think your spirits will be considerably lifted with increased mobility.
Yes, I'm already daydreaming about working in my flower beds, returning to the elementary school, etc. etc....
no worries Sharon...now you'll be able to rock and roll.
and everyone knows that it is rock that keeps people young.
Good luck with the surgery tomorrow!
