Best Surprise EVER!

This past Friday, I had a lovely surprise! Karen, who runs 'Seeing Hands' and her son, Nathan, stopped by to meet me!!! They were on vacation in Nisswa, and decided to drive the extra hour+ to see me.

What a thrill to meet them both! We talked, and talked, and talked! I 'showed' Nathan several things- the bar that Dale and Colin made, some of the quilts I've made for 'Project Linus', (I guided his hand over the stitching that I put around Batman, and he could 'see' it!)

He brought me the cutest planter. It is a black wrought-iron cat holding a little pot of moss roses. He said he knew that I loved flowers.

I sent them an email thanking them again for coming to see me. When they got back to the Cities, Karen wrote back saying that Nathan had wanted to come back to see me on Saturday! Next time they come up, it will be a planned trip.

Even Maynard liked them both! Not one bark came out of her mouth, and she was friendly and playful.

How special they made me feel..... Guess I needed that!
