What I Did All Day...

When my son was very small, his favorite book was "What Do People Do All Day?" by Richard Scarry. If you asked him, "What book should I read to you tonight?", that would be number ONE on his list.

Today I thought about that book. What did I do all day today?

• Three loads of laundry
• Let the dogs out at LEAST 20 times (they LIE, you know...they go out, don't piddle or poop, then turn around and come right back to the door hoping for a treat!)
• Finished editing a book for "Seeing Hands"
• Gave my husband and son much needed haircuts
• Made a kettle of split pea soup and ham
• Washed dishes
• Put away laundry
• Cleaned my shotgun (have been shooting WAY too many squirrels!)
• Iced my knee twice
• Did supper dishes, cleaned up the kitchen
• Wrote out bills
• Balanced the checkbook
