- She also gave me a written copy of it.
- I had to sign it.
- My husband and son heard the list.
- I read over the list again when I got home.
The nurse told me not to get behind because it would be hard to 'catch up'.
She was right.
On a brighter note, I was able to take a full shower today and wash my hair. Preparations included, a shower stool to sit on, wrapping my knee in Glad wrap, taping said Glad wrap to keep incision dry. Afterwards, my husband replaced the old dressing with a new one. (All while not saying a word such as: 'Oh Yeuck!' or 'Man, they really sliced you open!', or 'Geez, that must hurt!')
Did I mention that he is the best?

Glad to see you're back home and slowly but surely on the mend. Hang in there, as I am sure pain now will give way to a lot more comfortable way of life in a fairly short time.
I'm glad that you're back at home, Sharon.
Managing pain medication is the worst. I'm such a baby, I always want to take more than the prescribed does at shorter intervals!
WELCOME, WELCOME HOME! Here is to a fast recovery.
