New Glasses...

I became frustrated (read crabby) with my latest pair of glasses. I've had them since last spring. (See my picture --->) I liked the look of them, BUT I didn't like looking THROUGH them so much. They were OK for driving, and for watching TV, and for looking another person in the eye... (pardon the pun), BUT not so good for working on the computer or reading a book, or writing out the monthly bills, or doing my word puzzles.
I had to use my left hand to sort of lift them up a bit so my old eye balls could see through the bottom part of the tri-focals. Bummer...
Sooooo.... I went back AGAIN to the eye clinic. (I've been back several times to have them adjusted). This time I saw the eye dr., AND the optician. I needed a different style, larger lenses to more adequately fit all the areas of the trifocals properly. (Why didn't they say something before?????)
So..... they actually selected the frames, and said I could have a tint in these as I did in my lenses before the last ones, and I would only have to pay $34.00 total. I thought that was a good deal.

I got the glasses on Tuesday. I hate them already. I can see better, but the bows are too short and make a painful dent above my ears. The tint is too dark and accents the bags under my eyes. The nose pieces hurt the bridge of my nose.

Other than that, they are ok.... (insert snide chuckle here) What do you think?

on the plus side, Sharon, no one will hit you 'cause you're wearing glasses.

Froyd...I've been wearing glasses (or contacts) since I was 10 years old. That's 55 years of corrective lenses.

Wait...you're right. No one has ever hit me! Hmmmm....
