I didn't plant any morning glories this spring because last year's batch were riddled with some kind of blight. So I was going to leave the soil in this planter dormant for a while, then replace it with fresh for next spring. Well, apparently, the little buggers from last year dropped a lot of seeds, so... this is what we have now! Ain't nature grand?????

Morning Glory Surprise!
I didn't plant any morning glories this spring because last year's batch were riddled with some kind of blight. Well, apparently, the little buggers from last year dropped a lot of seeds, so... this is what we have now! Ain't nature grand?????

That happened to me, except it was lettuce growing out of the cracks in my front stairs!
Beautiful. The morning glories I've seen around here have pure white blossoms, pop up everywhere are considered weeds by most of the folks I know.
