This is Crumpet (a King Charles Cavalier spaniel). My friend paid a good deal of money for her! I was asked to name her, and because she is an English breed, Crumpet seemed appropriate. She is ecstatic when I come to visit, crying and 'talking' to me, running round and round to catch her own tail.
This is Chloe. Isn't she beautiful? She was a 'throw-away' dog, abused, neglected, and brought to our local vet to be destroyed. After the former owners walked out, this marvelous vet took her, cleaned her up, fed her, nursed her back to health and then asked my friend to come meet her. She fell in love with her immediately! She is flourishing now! She is loved and cared for. She is happy. I was given the honor of naming her also. So my friend refers to me now as their godmother!

They are absolutely adorable.
It is always upsetting to hear how people can mistreat and dispose of their animals.
But sometimes there is a happy ending like this one.
Both dogs are so darling. I love stories with happy endings like this one.
I cannot believe someone threw that GORGEOUS doggie away.
